One of our fine southern California growers for hardy ornamentals is Bordier's Nursery. They currently have growing facilities in Irvine and Somas CA. A wide variety of high quality product is grown at these locations. This includes items that range in hardiness from zone 4 to 10. Hardier material that is shipped from this nursery include Hydrangeas, Crepe Myrtles, Grasses, Junipers, Roses, Euonymus and much more. Some marginally hardy items still sell well for their color or as patio plants around a deck or pool. Topiary items, Tropical items (such as Bouganvillea and Hibiscus)and specimen patio plants help to round out any order. Don't forget the color items, Bordier's can ship out a nice assortment of annuals and perennials in 1G for instant color when it arrives. The color items help lead customers into the garden centers for instant sales. Our McHutchison rep can help you with current availability form this grower. Much of this material begins shipping in the spring in early April. This is a good supplier to bring in fresh and colorful items for Mother’s Day sales. Of course much of this material can ship throughout the summer and fall. Don’t forget about the Christmas program from Bordiers that features Rosemary.
