Van Essen West Coast Nursery Stock

Van Essen is a wholesale grower of high quality nursery stock. Their growing facilities are located in the lush Williamette Valley of Oregon. Currently Van Essen grows on about 200 acres of land, which include both their container and field production and liner divisions.

This nursery offers a very diversified line of plant product. Field and container grown shrubs, Ornamental Grasses, Liners, and now with the addition of Proven Winners/Color Choice ® line further enhances the value of purchasing from this nursery. Van Essen Nursery is one of the premier growers of this line and is currently licensed for 33 varieties.

Why is the Proven Winners/Color Choice line generating so much excitement? Simply because this is a value added line. Proven Winners/Color Choice is marketing these plants to the general public which will bring customers into retail centers looking for many of these plants. They have used print media, radio and television to do so. All of these plants come with a special Proven Winners/Color Choice tag to set these plants apart in the garden center. Van Essen Nursery is certainly in the forefront of this program and will continue to aggressively add new items every year to this program.

Van Essen Performance Liners are another great line that is still expanding with more varieties each year. They are doing a 2” and 4” liner on most items that they grow including the Proven Winners/Color Choice line. This is a great opportunity to bring in a good quality liner for the growers across the country.
