Wells West Coast Nursery Stock Page 1

Wells Nursery has been in the nursery business for over 65 years growing fine quality plants in the Skagit Valley region of Washington State.  A good mix of plant material which include many grafted conifers and unusual plants can be found here.  Some examples of these plants include the following:
Abies concolor glauca compacta
Cedrus atlantica fastigiata
Cedrus deodora Wells ‘Curly Locks’
Cedrus deodora Emerald Falls
Cham p. filifera aurea Wells Sunball
Picea mariana fastigiata Wells ‘Wellspire’
Picea orientalis Wells ‘Green Knight’
Pinus cenbra ‘Blue Mound’
Picea omorika nana
And many more

As you can see from the above list Wells Nursery is a great source for grafted conifers and has some of the more unusual varieties.  The climate at the nursery gives it a great advantage for fall digging over other growers.  Most of their conifers can be dug starting in August for some early fall and late summer shipments.  Most plants grown here are hardy in most zones and as low as zone 3.
