Obersinner Nursery, a division of Obersinner Farms, Inc., is a fourth generation family owned and operated business specializing in fruit and vegetable production since the late 1800’s.

Obersinner Nursery offers field grown Rhododendrons (sizes 18/21” – 36/42”), Japanese Maples, Grafted Conifers, Pieris, Buxus, Daphne, Ilex, and Deciduous Azaleas. They also have 16 acres of pot-in-pot productions, including Rhododendrons (#6 & #10), Prunus, and some trees. Container production of Rhododendrons consists of #1, #2 & #3 cans.

Most products are available Fall through Spring, with limited container and pot-in-pot availability in the summer.

Southeastern Natives opened in 2006 in the mountains of Western North Carolina.  We provide quality native plant material, both field grown and container grown to landscapers, retail garden centers, state and federal agencies.  We also also contract growing and material procurement.

Twin Springs Nursery was founded in 1989 when Steve and Barb Catts moved to the farm the Catts family had farmed since 1929.  As the company has grown from its first few acres to its current 275 acres it has never lost sight of its original goal: providing superior quality nursery stock to their customers.

Twin Springs offers a broad variety of field grown and container nursery stock including field-grown conifers from 3-12ft, broadleaf evergreens (including boxwood and holly), deciduous trees, container Japanese Maples, dwarf cherry varieties, and laurels.

Field grown product is available whenever the product is dormant and can be dug.  Their container product is available for shipping year-round.

Woodburn Nursery, Woodburn, OR

Company History

Tom Fessler’s (the current Nursery manager) parents, Bob and Jean, started raising berries and mink over 40 years ago and then shifted focus to azaleas and flowering plants in 1967 and got into the nursery stock business in 1981.

Woodburn produces a wide variety of container grown nursery stock including Japanese Maples, Rhododendrons, conifers, boxwood, ilex, laurels, azaleas, thuja, chamaecyparis, euonymus, pieris and dwarf Alberta spruce. Most common sizes are #1, #3, #6, #10, and they also have B&B.

Distinctive Qualities

Woodburn is also the largest producer of florist quality azaleas in the country. Grown in various pot sizes and unique topiary shapes, these plants are also shipped throughout the United States and Canada. Blooming azaleas are sold in color to grocery store chains, wholesale and retail florists and interior landscapers. Woodburn also sells plants that are budded and ready to force to greenhouse customers that ‘force’ the plants into color for distribution to their customers.
