Ball Ornamentals

There is a strong focus with this line to find more heat tolerant

items for the southwest like leucospermum, lomandra and grevillea.

Rosa STARLET BEAUTY™ Series:

This is a climbing

floribunda type rose available in 4 colors; Pink, Mauve, Ruby and

Tangerine. The Pink is the most fragrant.Think of it like a David

Austin type on a vine. Transplant liners into gallons in the spring

and then into larger 2 to 3-gallon containers in the fall to finish for

the following year.

Calluna SKYLINE Series:

This plant is a heather, but in this

case, it’s prized for its spire-like foliage, not for its flowers.Think of

it like an evergreen asparagus fern for the landscape. There are two

varieties in the series—Sydney has an orange color in the cooler

autumn months and Stockholm turns a dark burgundy.

Hydrangea L.A. DREAMIN’:

It’s the first hydrangea of its

kind to show Blue, Pink and everything between on the same plant

without any aluminum sulfate or special fertilizer. As L.A. Dreamin’

matures in the landscape or container, it can bloom in shades of

blue, purple, and pink—at the same time, on the same plant. Plants

come with a mandatory container and tag and Ball is putting more

than $250K in consumer advertising to drive retail sales.

Aloe SAFARI Series:

These large, landscape sized aloes

are available through EuroAmerican. First year flowering, these

reblooming varieties keep the color coming throughout the

growing season.
