Company History
In 1997, with the support of several key growers and a production farm in Mexico, Troy Lucht created Plant Source International to produce spring vegetative spring annuals that were both non-patented items and patented items from around the world. Many of the new patented items were coming from smaller breeding companies that were looking for an opportunity into the North American market. A few years after beginning production, it became apparent for the need to have self-owned and managed production facilities in Mexico. Mauricio Paniagua, the former general manager of the prior production site, partnered with Troy Lucht to create Plant Source International Mexico. Currently, PSI Mexico owns and operates all its own land and buildings. Over the years, we have added key personnel, such as Linda Strandlund, that have allowed the company to continue to grow and be responsive to our customers. We pride ourselves on quick order response, proactive order management in weather and freight delays, and accurate, reliable order acknowledgments and fulfillments.

Owned by Larry & Cynthia Silverman, Silverleaf Greenhouses was founded in 1979. Starting out as a small, three-acre farm, Silverleaf Greenhouses has grown today into a thirty-five acre farm, with over 100,000 square-feet of technologically-enhanced greenhouses, located just outside the village of Walden, New York.At Silverleaf Greenhouses, we are proud to serve some of the finest greenhouses and garden centers nationally as well as respected landscapers and retailers throughout the Northeast. - Single Plant Cell Strips: Cells are grown in split 102 sized trays. The split trays allow us to sell them in multiples of 50 or as assorted trays in multiples of 17. This way, customers don’t have to order more than they may need. (Tags billed separately)
- 70 Cell Ivy: Ivies are grown in full 72 cell trays only and you are billed for 70 cells. (Tags billed separately)
- 2.5” Pots: 2.5” material is planted in trays of 32 pots but can be ordered in multiples of 16 or as assorted trays in multiples of 8. (Tags included)
- 4” Pots: Grown and sold in multiples of 10 (Tags included)

Our Blairsville location offers optimum growing conditions which include warm days and cool nights, and is nestled in a lush valley in the mountains of Georgia, with a climate controlled environment divided into 10 computer controlled management zones. We offer a full line of ornamental annuals for the spring season and in addition we offer a full line fall program that consists of cool crops such as Pansies, violas, and other fall crops from our Georgia facility.

In 1989, Patty and Jay Steinhauser began Stonehouse Nursery in Southwest Michigan. Stonehouse later transitioned from serving independent garden centers with finished material to its current business of providing high-quality, vigorous liners to container growers.

Company History
Howard and Fumiko, originally began the company during the 60′s, down in sunny southern California. Back then we were a groundcover supplier to the local landscape and nursery trade. Later in 1979, my grandparents relocated up to Fresno (why they moved away from the warm weather and big cities, I’ll never understand!). They resumed the family business along with my parents, Danny and Renu, and my dad’s two brothers. A year later I was born, followed by my sister and younger brother. My parents now not only had the role of raising a young family, but they also assumed responsibility of the nursery from my grandparents.While continuing to supply groundcover to the nursery trade, they also briefly dabbled in landscaping and garden retail and eventually tried their hand in perennial propagation in the 90′s. By the late 90′s, we had fully transitioned to perennial propagation, which continues to be our specialty today!
